KJ, Ty, and Matt - Aunt Jill gave the boys some M&M candy for Easter and they had fun playing with the M&M candy container. They are easily entertained!

KJ - Galveston Skate Park - Spring Break 2009

KJ wanted to come to Galveston just to hang out at this skate park. KJ has gotten much better at dropping in since the last time we were here. He and Ty had a great time (Matt too, but he doesn't like to stay too long).

Ty really enjoys this skate park. He likes to ride his scooter and skateboard.

He probably did this jump 100 times while we were there. He fell a couple of times, but he got it down and landed some awesome jumps.

We love this statue. It was erected in memory of the Hurricane that destroyed Galveston in 1900.

This picture was taken on one of our favorite streets in downtown Galveston. The store owners are slowly getting their shops repaired and open for business. KJ is about 5'9"; just to give you a reference on how high the water rose in this area.

Track 2009

KJ

KJ ran the 800 meters again this year. He improved so much; he is really starting to look like a "trackster"! He ran the guy from Breckenridge down and passed him.

You go boy!!!

Of course, track is also about the girls! All the girls in the top picture are his ex-girlfriends. They run the sprint relay.

Basketball 2009

KJ #21

KJ played very well this year. He had a game high of 16 points. There was more than one occasion when he would score the first 6 or 8 points of the game.

Ty #2

Ty played in the Jim Ned Basketball League this year. He learned a lot and was awarded the lay-up champ during pre-game drills 2 different times.

He loved it!

Matt

Matt also played in the Jim Ned Basketball League this year. He had a game high of 8 points. Matt loves to shoot and he gained a lot of confidence this season.

Wylie Tournament Champs

The 8th grade boys had a great season. They ended with a bang - winning the Wylie Tournament. Go Indians!
