Ty ~ Astros Baseball 2009

Ty and I before his game. Aren't we cute?
Ty at the plate. He has had a great year. His team is struggling this year though; it has been a year of rebuilding after last years state qualifying team which Ty was a part of. Ty pitches, catches, and has played 1st, short and 2nd.

Ty's pitching has come along way this year. He is throwing so much harder. It is fun to watch him pitch because he has so much fun on the mound. He just gets so fired up when he strikes out one of his friends. They are so funny.

Corpus Christi Vacation 2009

Here is what we drove all night for... the sunrising on the ocean at Corpus Christi. It was beautiful.
Ty, me, KJ, and Matt standing on the beach at North Parde. The water was fairly blue and the beach was nice, but the boys got bit by a few too many jelly fish; they didn't think that was too cool.
One of KJ's friends went with us, Tyler. He is KJ's friend that shares the same birthday. Yes, I am crazy taking 4 boys to the beach... crazy, but fun! They had fun hanging out together... looking at the girls. Haha
This was just too cool to pass up... they were just sitting like that so I grabbed my camera and quick got the shot. I love it!

Matt and his goggles...he has to have them! I don't blame him the saltwater hurts your eyes! Cutie patootie!
Ty poses for a picture... the pier in the background was great for the classic beach photo.

And when we go on vacation, we have to find a skate park. This one was located right on the water. They skated and I did my running. KJ always looks like he is flying... and I guess he kind of is...this was a kick flip and yes he landed it.
KJ and Tyler are both so athletic. They can do just about anything. Last year they both pitched and caught for each other, but this year Tyler is going to school in town and plays for a different league. They still have so much fun together and skating is something they can do together that is not school related.

We had to go to the local "tourist trap"! You entered the shop through the sharks mouth.

After two days in Corpus, we all decided that we really liked Galveston better. So what did we do?? We got up at 4am on Monday and drove over to Galveston to spend the last day of our vacation. Remember....crazy, but fun! KJ saw this bird on a fence at the Sonic on Seawall Blvd. What an awesome picture!!

And last, but not least... Ty took a picture of the sunset as we were driving home. It was just breath taking. We had come full circle.

Matt ~ Pirate Baseball 2009

Matt with an awesome hit! His batting average is insane!! Out of 25 at bats, he has 18 hits, 3 walks, 2 strike-outs, and has only been thrown out 2 times.
The Pirates are undefeated and have secured their division championship. They will compete in the TTAB District tournament in July.
Way to go Matt!!

The three pictures below were taken on the night of his debut as a pitcher. He faced three batters and struck them all out! I guess he will follow in his brothers' footsteps! He was so excited!

Matt and Coach Powers give each other a big high five! Kolsen, his catcher, was right on his heels to give him a big hug! They are best buds!

Here is my new ride! My very first vehicle to pick-out and sign papers on all by myself! Yea me!

Rebecca ~ 2009 Softball Season ~

Rebecca, my pretend daughter, had a wonderful year playing softball. She played on Varsity this year as a sophomore. You go girl! Their team made it through two rounds of the play-offs before getting beat out.
Rebecca is a slapper and she is super fast.
Play-off game ~ Rebecca on second.

Talking to her new boyfriend after the game...

I took this picture after the game while we were waiting on the girls... they are so cute!

KJ's 14th Birthday

All KJ wanted to do on his birthday was go to the skate park at 8am before all the people got there and go to Chili's to eat lunch, so that's what we did (a few stops were added as the day went on).

KJ and Dakota doing a double jump.

After lunch, KJ and Dakota went to play putt-putt with Tyler. KJ and Tyler share the same birthday. They think that is so cool... twins from another mother (and father). Haha They all love to skate so then I took them to an indoor skate place.

Da Cake!!

Wonder what he wished for? Maybe, I don't want to know!
After a long day, we were all pretty worn out, but we had to take a group photo... thanks Dakota!

Happy Birthday, KJ! Can't believe you are 14!!
